Tainted Waters by Lucretia Stanhope
Tainted Waters is a captivating tale of a girl named Alice and everything she never knew about herself. I enjoyed that this book jumped right into the action and stayed there from start to finish. Decker being a dislikable but likable ally was one of my favorite parts. I love a semi-villain. Lucretia Stanhope does a good job of making you feel what Alice feels in those tense moments that you find often throughout Tainted Waters. I would love to know more about how she came to be and her origin story. I recommend this book if you prefer intense action rather than intense world building. It was a fun book to read.
